SENIOR APPRENTICE CARPENTER

We are a 16 year old, award winning, lower mainland, Burnaby based Residential and Commercial Construction company (new builds to renovations) looking for a 3rd or 4th year Senior Apprentice Carpenter to join our team.

Credentials needed:  

• Enrolled or wanting to enroll in the ITA carpentry apprenticeship program
• Have an understanding of advanced construction, be highly motivated, reliable, hardworking, with strong communication and listening skills.  
• Able to take direction and at times work without supervision
• BC Resident, Canadian Citizenship/BC at least 1 Year
• Vehicle and Basic Tools

Role: Responsible for execution of all technical aspects of construction on the jobsite.   

Responsibilities: 

• Take instruction from Site Supervisor
• Have an advanced construction knowledge and a drive to learn more
• Study site drawings and scope to ensure complete understanding of the job parameters.
• Communicate material, labour and safety needs to the Carpenter (anticipate those needs as far out as possible)
• Actively seek to learn new skills and techniques, always be learning!
• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and safely
• Ensure ITA qualifications are being met for Apprenticeship Program
